Quattroruote chooses altreforme for the prestigious Premio Gianni Mazzocchi 2012

The prestigious national magazine Quattroruote has selected altreforme for the realization of the Gianni Mazzocchi Prize 2012. The prize Gianni Mazzocchi, entitled in memory of Editoriale Domus' founder, is an acknowledgment reserved to authoritative personalities of the automotive world, who have dedicated their careers to the protection of customers and technological progress. The 2012 edition of the prize is designed by Pernilla&Asif studio based in London and produced by altreforme with techniques entirely issued from the automotive production, since the material used: the aluminium. "I'm proud that altreforme has been selected by Quattroruote to make this prestigious prize" says Valentina Fontana, "which is an acknowledgment reserved to authoritative figures from the automotive world, a field where altreforme originates and which is closely related. We take inspirations observing the automotive sector innovations and cutting edge technologies in order to never give limits to our inventiveness and to the architects, with whom we collaborate." The award was presented at Palazzo Mezzanotte during the Quattroruote Day; the Chairwoman of the publishing group Domus, Giovanna Mazzocchi Bordone, has awarded John Barnard, the famous British designer who worked for leading Formula 1 stables including Ferrari, McLaren and Benetton.
